Mars has brought back a cult-fave chocolate bar, and shoppers are going absolutely wild.

The new flavour, which comes all the way from down under, was first launched in the UK last year for a limited time and has finally made a triumphant return. It comes just after the chocolate giant debuted its Mars and Milkway croissants in Iceland stores nationwide – which sent chocolate lovers equally feral.

Whilst hundreds have raved about the ‘delicious’ treat, it appears not everyone is a fan of the unusual combo flavours. In fact, many agree you should never ‘mess with a classic’. Well, you can’t please everyone…

The Honeycomb Salted Caramel Mars Bars have been spotted in B&M stores for the first time since 2023. They feature a ‘light and fluffy honeycomb-flavoured nougat that’s smothered in creamy caramel’ and coated in milk chocolate.

Priced at £1 per bar from the bargain retailer, the cult-fave chocolates were previously only available to purchase online – from retailers like eBay. However, you’d have to fork out £10.99 for three bars, which works out to more than £3.360 each.

After being posted on the NewFoodsUK Facebook page, thousands flocked to the comments section to tag their friends. “Look at those bad boys they look tasty,” one person raved. Another agreed, commenting: “I need it as a staple in my diet.” A third added: “These look delicious, [I’ll] have to go buy some.” While a fourth penned: “Just gotta try these out.”

However, not everybody was happy with the addition of salted caramel, arguing Mars shouldn’t ‘mess with a classic’. “I was interested until I saw salted caramel…. yuck,” fumed one shopper.

“I had one yesterday and I have to say it wasn’t all that. [I] couldn’t really taste the honeycomb – all you could taste was the salted caramel… I won’t be wasting my money again,” added another. A third wrote: “Whatever happened to normal caramel in sweets and biscuits? It’s so annoying.” While a fourth dubbed salted caramel as ‘awful’.
