Does this weather persist into the weekend?

Similar weather as we move into Thursday with spells of sunshine and showers and again some of these could be locally heavy and thundery in nature. Feeling a touch cooler too due to a moderate northerly or north-westerly breeze. Fewer showers on Friday with more in the way of sunshine and Saturday looks set to be dry with sunny spells, variable amounts of patchy cloud cover and just a few showers across the far south-east. High pressure will extend in from the west on Sunday bringing a largely dry and bright day.
