The Republic’s Treasury has announced its acceptance of electronically signed forms, provided they are signed with a valid and certified electronic signature and/or seal in accordance with the legislation.
This pertains to the implementation of Regulation (EU) No. 910/2014 on Electronic Identification and Trust Services for Electronic Transactions in the Internal Market, Law of 2018 (55(I)/2018).
According to the Treasury, specific forms can now be sent electronically to the corresponding division of the Republic’s Treasury via a suitable, valid, and certified electronic signature (and seal where applicable).
However, forms scanned with a handwritten signature will not be accepted electronically.
The forms and their respective divisions are as follows:

• Payment Authorization for Monthly Pension (for change of details, e.g., bank account)
• Declaration for Claiming Tax Deductions (Form T.F.59)
