What will you be doing?

• On behalf of a global financial services organization, develop IVR application in AWS cloud using GoLang and Amazon Connect.
• Modify current application code to cloud native application framework to migrate it to cloud.
• Participate in requirement analysis meetings with product owners, architects, and other stack holders to design the solution and participate in planning and task refinement meetings with Project management team to estimate and fine-tune task lists to provide a solution within time and budget.
• Collaborate with other stakeholders and teams such as networking, information security, partners, vendors for end-to-end project implementation.
• Develop code in a sprint and release the code to production.
• Use comprehensive knowledge of DevOps Tools needed to instrument continuous development and delivery using supporting tools OpenShift, Chef, Jenkins, and Nexus.
• Perform code reviews and suggest best practices to ensure product stability and implementation.
• Create opportunities and experiences through which team members can improve skills and capabilities.
• Set stretching targets for team members that align to the area’s goals and priorities.
• Perform root cause analysis of any production incidents and provide resolutions within the Barclays defined incident SLA, resolving and communicating technology issues and risks to Business and technology stakeholders.
• Establish different cloud provisioning like application security, Network firewall, and various resource configurations make application available in cloud.
• Perform DevOps engineering to design and develop CICD pipeline using Jenkins and Gradle and Chef to deploy and release code.
• Write Unit tests of all applications.

What we’re looking for:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and five (5) years of post-baccalaureate progressively responsible experience in the position offered or as a Senior Software Developer, Senior Project Engineer, or related occupation.

Must have at experience with each of the following required skills: Cloud based Platform development using AWS services, GoLang, and Cloud Formation Stacks; Solutions design and development of microservices for Contact Center Applications; Designing and developing applications using JAVA/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Struts, and Groovy; Using Spring framework to develop highly scalable enterprise applications; Using CICD and Jenkins to develop, build, and deploy applications in various environments; Working as DevOps engineer to design and develop CICD pipeline using Jenkins and Chef; and Voice XML and Avaya Aura Experience Portal (AAEP).
