Broker Conveyancing is launching a new system that it has developed alongside The Moving Portal that is designed to allow mortgage advisors to complete surveys.
This suite of products will be available to advisors through the portal for Broker Conveyancing and includes Building Survey Level 3, Homebuyers’ Report Level 2 and Basic Valuations. It means that advisors will need to be registered with Broker Conveyancing, but those that are able to access the new service will have the option of adding further products to propositions and setting referral fees of their choice. Thus, it presents another possible source of revenue for self-employed advisors.
Broker Conveyancing CEO Mark Snape told Financial Reporter that advisors generally offer far more than just basic mortgage guidance these days and that this service had been designed with that in mind.
He then went on to say that:
“We’ve certainly seen a growing army of advisors providing conveyancing advice and having talked to our partners, it was obvious there was also an opportunity to work with The Moving Portal to help deliver valuations and surveys to consumers.”
He concluded by pointing out that the new system that the two companies had created would both help the general public and provide mortgage advisors with useful additional sources of income to support their businesses.
Any advisor who goes self-employed after gaining their CeMAP mortgage advisor qualification will welcome opportunities to earn additional money, as well as demonstrating the breadth of their expertise to clients.
