Martin Lewis issues warning to ‘anybody who’s had a mortgage, card or loan’ since 2010

Martin Lewis has issued a warning to “anybody” who’s had a mortgage or loan from 2010 onwards. The ITV This Morning star was promoting his new BBC Sounds podcast on social media when he urged fans and followers to take notice.

“Really worth anyone who had a loan, mortgage, card, catalogue debt, from about 2010 onwards listening to this, even some who’ve already had a PPI payout may be eligible for more if this lawsuit wins (PPI is quite near the start),” Mr Lewis wrote on Twitter, now X.

“Can you reclaim PPI again? Must listen if you have had a loan, card, mortgage or other debt,” Mr Lewis explained in the episode synopsis. “Are you one of 1m+ paying off student loans due £100 or £1,000s back?” The episode also touched on inflation, who gets what in wills and more.

“My new pod,” Mr Lewis added. Lisa replied: “I was taxed on my PPI refund, and it turns out that year I was under the tax threshold so have applied for a refund. It’s worth checking.” Joe said: “Mate as I read this, I can hear the Imperial March from Star Wars, as I see armies of cold-callers heading to their call centres”

Captain said: “The majority of PPI claims were false and now the money grabbers may be able to reclaim tax. The tax payer loses out here.” All former students with student loans should check if they can reclaim £100s or even £1,000s. In the episode, Money Saving Expert star Martin explains who is eligible and how to reclaim. Also PPI reclaiming is back.

New legal action means you could you reclaim £1,000s (even if you were paid before) if you had a loan, credit card, car finance, catalogue debt etc. Listen to find out if you are eligible to reclaim and how to get the money if you are
