NEW YORK, March 01, 2023–(BUSINESS WIRE)–KBRA assigns preliminary ratings to 55 classes of mortgage pass-through certificates from Sequoia Mortgage Trust 2023-2 (SEMT 2023-2), a $324.7 million prime jumbo RMBS transaction. The underlying pool consists predominately of fully amortizing, fixed rate mortgages (FRMs; 99.6%) with 30-year maturity terms (99.1%) and a QM: Safe Harbor (APOR) designation (91.2%). The collateral is characterized by a weighted average (WA) original credit score of 756 and moderate borrower equity, as evidenced by the WA original LTV of 72.4% and WA original CLTV of 72.6%.
