WWE ’s latest invasion of the United Kingdom takes place this weekend as Money in the Bank takes place at London’s O2 Arena.
The UK has once again proved itself as a major market for WWE, who hosted their first stadium show since 1992 here last year with Clash at the Castle attracting over 60,000 in Cardiff.
The reward for the success of that event is the company returning for a first ‘Premium Live Event’ on these shores for over two decades.

Stars like Roman Reigns, The Usos, Becky Lynch and social behemoth Logan Paul are all among those slated to appear at what’s shaping up to be an unforgettable night.
With so much happening, here’s Daily Star’s handy guide to the key things you need to know about WWE’s Money in the Bank 2023, live from The UK.
When is WWE Money in the Bank?
Money in the Bank takes place this Saturday night, 1st July 2023.
The show gets underway at 8pm, but WWE’s build-up offerings across their social media channels will almost certainly begin an hour or so before.
For UK fans so accustomed to staying up to the early hours to watch WWE megashows live from the States, the chance to reverse the tables is unique, with this event being shown live in the early part of the afternoon Stateside.
Where is Money in the Bank being held?
A favoured UK venue for WWE, Money in the Bank takes place at London’s O2 Arena.
Dan Ventrelle, WWE Talent VP said at the time the blockbuster was announced that the former Millenium Dome site was the “perfect” location for the bash and that the company were “honoured” to be bringing the thrill-a-minute action to Britain.
WWE has regularly held events at the arena, including live broadcasts of their weekly Raw and SmackDown television shows.
Can I still get tickets to Money in the Bank?
Combo tickets covering both Saturday’s event and the the Friday Night SmackDown show that’s held at the O2 the night before are officially sold out via Ticketmaster.
However, as of Wednesday, there were still a handful of individual tickets left for each night, but these are certain to be snapped up before show time, so you’ll need to move quickly.
Where can I watch Money in the Bank in the UK?
As WWE’s UK television partner, BT Sport has the rights to screen Money in the Bank here, and will do so via BT Sport Box Office on Saturday night.
For £14.95, fans can watch via BT Sport Box Office 2, BT TV, Sky or Virgin Media.
Alternatively, subscribers to WWE Network – WWE’s own streaming service – can watch the show at no extra cost, and new subscribers sign up for £9.99 per month.
What are the top matches?
The matches that give Money in the Bank its name remain arguably the most exciting you’ll see on Saturday night.
This year, the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match sees seven gents battling it out for a chance to snare the coveted briefcase that guarantees its holder a championship match at the time of their choosing.
Ricochet, Butch, LA Knight, Shinsuke Nakamura, Santos Escobar, Damian Priest and Logan Paul comprise the field this time around, while six stars in Becky Lynch, Bayley, Zelina Vega, Iyo Sky, Zoey Stark and Trish Stratus will compete in the women’s epic.
Which titles will be on the line?
As well as those two key match-ups, fans can also prepare to see the World Heavyweight Championship on the line as champ Seth Rollins defends against Finn Balor.
Women’s tag team gold will also be up for grabs as Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez step up to challenge Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey.
Intercontinental Champion Gunther meets Matt Riddle in London as The Ring General aims to continue his impressive reign.
In non-title matches, there’s the crunch ‘Bloodline Civil War’ as The Usos battle their own brother and cousin in Solo Sikoa and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns..
Elsewhere on Saturday, Cody Rodes meets Dominik Mysterio in singles action.
The night before, London will host two more title matches on SmackDown from The O2 as The UK’s Pretty Deadly meet Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the men’s tag titles, while Charlotte Flair challenges Asuka for the WWE Women’s Championship.
What surprises are planned for Money in the Bank?
The rumour mill loves big events, and there’s not likely to be any shortage of talking points in London this weekend.
While WWE hasn’t said as much, speculation is abound that Jake Paul, the boxer and social media sensation, could be on hand to support brother Logan in his quest for Money in the Bank glory.
Wrestling insider Twitter account WrestleVotes has this week hinted that WWE is choosing between “two very drastic finishes” to the Bloodline encounter, which suggests that epic story is set to take another big twist this weekend.
Saturday would also make for an ideal return time for Scot Drew McIntyre, who absent from WWE television over the last couple of months, while fans have been clamouring for months on an update on Randy Orton’s status following a long-term back injury. Could this be the setting for a strike from the Viper?
Anything else to know about Money in the Bank?
Yes! It’s the start of a big week for WWE outside of the States, with Money in the Bank the centrepiece event.
A UK and Ireland tour kicks off on Wednesday night in Liverpool, before WWE hits Sheffield and Dublin on Thursday, and Newcastle on Friday.
Newcastle’s show will almost certainly be a Raw branded affair – SmackDown will be being recorded at the O2 at the time ready to be broadcast in the early hours of Saturday.
Following Money in the Bank, WWE has shows planned for Cardiff on Sunday, 2nd July before returning to the US for Raw in Baltimore.
In addition, wrestling icon The Undertaker is bring his 1deadMAN show to the UK over the next week, with shows in Wolverhampton, Manchester and Glasgow.
Fans keen to do their shopping over Money in the Bank weekend can hit the WWE Money inthe Bank Store at Icon Outlet Shopping Centre at The O2- Upper Level in London.
