Who are the YouTubers in the US that earn the most money?

Social media has come to revolutionize the world, for better or for worse, not only in the field of entertainment, but also in business. With the takeover of social networks, certain content creators or influencers have managed to amass great fortunes.

Who are the YouTubers in the US that earn the most money?

According to the latest list made by Forbes, the highest-paid YouTubers collectively earned around $300 million in 2021. This represents a record amount, 40% more than the previous year. These gains are primarily driven by increased views on their YouTube channels, as well as the ad revenue they generate from those videos.

The biggest stars on this platform also have product lines and generate additional income through Twitch, Snap, Facebook, podcasts, NFTs or other businesses and collaborations.

In 2020, these were the YouTubers with the most earnings, according to Forbes:

  • Ryan Kaji: $29.5 million dollars
  • MrBeast: $24 million
  • Dude Perfect: $23 million
  • Rhett and Link: $20 million
  • Markiplier (Mark Fischbach): $19.5 million
  • Preston Arsement: $19 million
  • Nastya (Anastasia Radzinskaya): $18.5 million
  • Blippi (Stevin John): $17 million
  • David Dobrik: $15.5 million
  • Jeffree Star: $15 million

According to the latest update from Forbes, some people have moved up and down the list. These are the YouTubers who earned the most money in the United States in 2021:

MrBeast: $54 million dollars

Thanks to an increase in views, MrBeast’s earnings in 2021 were almost double what the number one YouTuber grossed in 2020. In 2021, Jimmy Donaldson, (MrBeast’s legal name), launched MrBeast Burger.

Jake Paul: $45 million

After being able to monetize his account again, Paul returned to YouTube. However, he was posting videos less frequently than before, using the platform primarily to market his boxing career, which now accounts for the majority of his earnings.

Markiplier: $38 million

Markiplier saw his profit rise from sales of t-shirts, hoodies and other items tied to his Unus Annus series, the main reason his income nearly doubled.

Rhett and Link: $30 million

What started out as the duo hosting Good Mythical Morning, has grown into something of an empire with spin-offs and brand extensions, increasing their views and earnings on YouTube.

Unspeakable: $28.5

Millions of people subscribe to his YouTube channels, where he posts videos of himself playing Minecraft and other games.
