Families in the United States who rely on a monthly Social Security check could soon get one of the new retirement payments. This new payment will be only for a specific group, but Americans who are not in this group may also get the payment in the coming weeks.
To find out if we have access to this new payment or not we only have to know what the requirements are. Likewise, the day of the payment is also important, since it determines the exact moment in which we can have the Social Security money available, although it is true that the collection method can change this information a lot.
Who gets the new June Social Security and when?
The day we need to mark on the calendar because it will be the day the new June Social Security payment arrives will be the 3rd. On that day, thousands of United States beneficiaries with an accepted retirement will get their check of about $1,850. That is the average payment, although the truth is that not all Americans get a similar check.
However, there is one requirement that must be met in order to be included in this group of beneficiaries. This requirement is none other than that you must have been receiving a retirement benefit since before May 1997. If you applied for Social Security before that date, the June 3rd payment is for you. There are no other requirements to obtain this payment. However, we should note that the collection method is key to getting payment on the same day of mailing. Only if we activate Direct Deposit can we get the money on June 3rd.
When do the remaining Social Security payments arrive in June?
The June 3rd payment is only the first of the full month’s retiree payments. There are three other payment days and they are all for retirees with a check after May 1997. If your check is after that date, you can get payment on one of the following days.
June 12th will be the Social Security payment day for retirees with birthdays between the 1st and 10th of the month. The June 18th payment is for retirees with birthdays between the 11th and 20th of any month. The June 26th payment will be only for retirees with birthdays between the 21st and 31st of any month.
