Lord Alan Sugar’s search for his next business partner is nearly over and the final of BBC’s The Apprentice is just around the corner. A total of 18 candidates started the process and a series of firings over 10 weeks has meant that only two remain.
The winner of The Apprentice will be given the opportunity to be Lord Sugar’s business partner and receive an investment to the value of £250,000 founded on the basis of their idea. Who do you think will win the show? Let us know in the comments.

When is The Apprentice 2024 final?
The Apprentice airs at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Thursday, April 18. The hour-long instalment will be followed by The Apprentice: You’re Hired.
Who are the finalists on The Apprentice 2024?
This year’s finalists are Phil Turner from Bognor Regis and Rachel Woolford from Leeds.
Phil, 37, is a pie company owner who had the innovative idea to ship his baked goods out in the post as well as sell them from his local family-run shop. Rachel, 27, is the owner of a boutique fitness studio having launched her health business during the 2020 Covid-19 lockdown.
Who won The Apprentice in 2023?
Last year’s series of The Apprentice was won by London-born court advocate Marnie Swindells, a gold medal-winning boxer who snowballed her passion into a business idea. After taking home the prize, she focused on investing the prize money into her passion.
The star and businesswoman used the money to open her own boxing gym, Bronx, in south London. Marnie got the keys to the site of her gym in 2019 but wasn’t able to start trading until February 2023 due to problems with the property lease and the council.
As written on the Bronx website, the gym “was born from the realisation that boxing clubs are about so much more than boxing, they are about unearthing your potential, discovering opportunities and finding a sense of belonging that extends far beyond boxing”.
