IN these budget-crunching times, we could all do with a little extra dosh.
So why not take advantage of apps that help you earn money in your spare time.
Here are ten money-making apps that have been recomm-ended by Emma Jackson, founder at BeeMoneySavvy.com.
- BeMyEye: Pays users to complete challenges — for example, spotting a creative sales display in a store and submitting a photo of it. You earn between £4-£8 a task, which can take less than ten minutes.
- Field Agent: Similar to mystery shopping, users secretly review shop displays and log them on the app. Typical earnings are £5 for a supermarket visit.
- AttaPoll: Users earn money for completing surveys. Eligibility might depend on where you live, how old you are, what you do as a job and whether you are single or have children.
- Influence: Video and survey app that pays people to record themselves reviewing a brand or service. You can earn 25p per 15-second recording.
- Qmee: Another app for earning from surveys, which you can do while on the bus or watching TV.
- Airtime Rewards: Cashback app that pays rewards when you shop. Money earned is taken off your phone bill.
- Swagbucks: Get paid to complete surveys or watch videos.
- SnapMyEats: Earn for taking a survey after purchasing something and from snapping pictures of receipts from your food and drink.
- Amazon Shopper: This is an invitation-only programme where customers can earn monthly rewards by sharing receipts from purchases made outside of Amazon. If you’re keen to join, sign up to the waiting list.
- JamDoughnut: Cashback site where shoppers can earn up to 20 per cent back from their purchases, which is paid into a “wallet’” on their account.
- All prices on page correct at time of going to press. Deals and offers subject to availability.
