Sophie Turner hints she is ready to put down roots in the UK with husband Joe Jonas

Is this a hint that Game Of Thrones star Sophie Turner is ready to put down roots in the UK with American pop star husband Joe Jonas?

Sophie, 27, sporting a £3,000 Louis Vuitton handbag with her leather jacket and grey tracksuit, seemed delighted to be strolling through North London – but Joe, 33, looked more worried about keeping their Money Tree houseplant upright in last week’s high winds and showers.

They and their two children live in a Miami mansion but Sophie, who later discarded the jacket, has confessed to missing home, saying of America: ‘The chocolate ain’t good, the crisps ain’t good. It’s not the same.’

She added: ‘I’m slowly dragging my husband back… England would ideally be the final destination, but Joe might take quite a bit of convincing!’

Let’s hope Martin Clunes is more charming than his grumpy Doc Martin character when he welcomes an extra on to the set of his latest drama – as they will have paid at least £2,500 for the privilege.

Clunes’s company Buffalo Pictures has offered a part in series Out There, due to film this summer, on Radio HP – a site known as the posh Gumtree.

The start price is hefty but the cash will go to a good cause – the charity Southern Spinal Injuries Trust.

Hairdresser Nicky Clarke with wife Kelly

Has Nicky blown in it?

He tended to the locks of Diana, Bowie and Naomi Campbell, but have the glory days faded for celebrity hairdresser Nicky Clarke, right with wife Kelly.

Liquidation documents from his Mayfair salon, which closed abruptly a year ago, reveal a debt of £473,000 owed to creditors and no cash in the bank.

Meanwhile all £67,000-worth of his hair product stock has now passed its shelf life. A very bad hair day.
