A NEW charity shop benefitting disabled people has just opened its doors in Poole high street.
The charity store supports children and adults with complex disabilities.
It hopes to become an integral part of Poole’s community by offering a hub for volunteers and customers to come together and tackle loneliness.
The store will sell traditional charity items such as new and donated goods, including ladies ‘wear, menswear, books, bric-a-brac, and electrical items.
Area manager Paul Ives said: “We’re delighted to have opened our new Sense Shop on the High Street in Poole – it’s our disability charity’s first store here in the town and on the south coast.
“The local community has made us feel so welcome.
“Sales so far have been really robust, and many customers are complimenting us on our fantastic prices, a wide range of pre-loved bargains, and the new shop’s attractive layout.
“Lots of people have been asking us about Sense too, and it’s been great telling them how our charity supports people living with complex disabilities, including those who are deafblind.
“As well as helping fund that vital work, we hope our new Sense shop becomes a valuable reuse and recycle point for the whole community.”
Sense is situated at 135 High Street, Poole.
