Peloton’s rebrand includes more classes, free membership


Peloton for all.

No longer an exclusive paid membership service or just a bike company, Peloton announced a brand relaunch on Tuesday that includes spreading its wings into the fitness realm, and the introduction of three different membership tiers, including one that’s free.

“With this brand relaunch we’re reflecting the vibrancy and fullness of everything Peloton has to offer to everyone. We’re shifting perceptions from in-home to everywhere, fitness enthusiasts to people at all levels, exclusivity to inclusivity across all Peloton Members present and future,” said Leslie Berland, the company’s chief marketing officer.

The company stated their data indicated more than half of all workouts were not cycling-related, but associated with other forms of fitness like yoga and meditation or walking and strength.
