McDonald’s is slashing prices on two fan favourites TOMORROW – but there’s a catch

MCDONALD’S is slashing the price of two menu items tomorrow.

The home of the Big Mac is selling its fan favourites the Double McMuffin and Filet-o-Fish for a fraction of the price.

Foodies will be able to bag the McMuffin for just £1.19 while the Filet-o-Fish has been slashed to £1.39, the Daily Mail reports.

The offer is available exclusively on the McDonald’s app.

Customers opting for the Double McMuffin will save themselves £1.90 with the offer while the Filet-o-Fish is £3.10 cheaper.

It comes as shoppers recently vented their frustration over two iconic discontinued items last seen on menus over a year ago.

The fast food chain axed breakfast wraps and bagels from restaurants in March 2020 and foodies praying for their return were left distraught in January 2022 when it confirmed the items would not be returning for good.

More than 18 months on and Maccie’s customers are still distraught about the items disappearance from menus.

One fan said: “Please bring back the McDonald’s breakfast wrap in the UK. You don’t know what I’d do for it.”

Meanwhile, another joked: “How many signatures would you require to bring the breakfast wrap back?”

Meanwhile, some customers are only just realising the fast food chain’s loyalty points expire.

How to save money at McDonald’s

Signing up to the My McDonald’s app means you can keep on top of the latest deals and offers.

The app, which you can download for free via Google play or the App Store, lets you browse the latest available menu.

Researching and comparing prices at your local McDonald’s branches could also save you some cash on your order.

Meanwhile, research by The Sun found you can end up spending more purely based on what type of restaurant you buy from.

You can bag freebies and discounts on your birthday if you’re a McDonald’s app user too.

Remember to log your date of birth on the app first though.
