The young woman, who goes by Sights of Sara on TikTok, revealed how she stays warm while living on the road.

“It’s pretty simple,” she said.

“I just plug my heated blanket into my Jackery 1000.

“I just turn it on and it lasts all night.”

Sara explained that by using the portable battery unit, she doesn’t have to worry about her car’s battery draining.

After a nice and warm night’s sleep, the road wanderer uses the same battery to live off toasted bagels.

“In the morning, I can use my Jackery to make some hot food,” Sarah said.

“I just plug my toaster and it uses about 720 watts.

“It’s super convenient to be able to cook food on the road, especially during the winter when it’s super cold.”

The TikTok post amassed more than 73,000 likes and over 1,000 comments.

One user wrote: “Even though I would NEVER live like this…that bed looks comfy.”

Another follower commended Sara, saying: “This lifestyle does not look easy.”

“You should just trade your escape in for a van to be honest,” a third suggested.

While Sara has a toaster in her car, other drivers are only just realising they have a hidden refrigerator in their vehicles.

A car expert shared some of her top tips and hacks for making motoring more comfortable and relaxing.

The TikTok user known as “Dongcheshijie” took to the social media site to reveal all to her 2.2million followers.

She started by telling viewers that “our cars have these hidden features” adding “many people have driven cars for 20 years and don’t know about them”.

She then opens the glove box on the passenger side and adjusts the rotary switch in the top of the compartment.

The expert, who refers to herself as “sister”, said that if you turn it clockwise to the “snowflake position” the glove box then has a “refrigerator cooling effect” which can keep your drinks nicely chilled.
