I hated my boring garden but I don’t have enough money for a landscaper

A HOME owner who hated his “boring” garden but didn’t have enough cash for a landscaper has revealed he completed the transformation himself.

Dana shared how he decided to go about the DIY project on his TikTok – and the before photos reveal a very different garden.

Prior to the remodel, his backyard featured a wide open green space and minimal decorations.

He said: “Absolutely hated our boring backyard but didn’t have a lot to spend on it.

“I decided to do it myself and for less than £750 ($1,000).”

Using his minimal budget, Dana added posts to hang string lights from which immediately brightened up the space.

A new deck table and chairs with a bright striped umbrella added a pop of colour to the formerly boring area.

And a wooden wall added a bit of privacy for the new inflatable hot tub added below the house’s window.

He even added a custom monogrammed letter on the new wall to personalise the area.

A few square stones created a gorgeous walkway, leading to a fire pit with four wooden chairs.

Meanwhile, an interior designer shared how she transformed her backyard with a “zen” corner.

“Backyard transformation,” was how Eryn (@everythingeryn) described plans for her external space.

Her zen corner features a tropical waterfall and well-placed lighting that looked amazing at night.

And with all the hype about the upcoming Barbie movie, one homeowner has taken Barbie mania to the next level.

She revealed her patio and backyard Barbie Dreamhouse makeover, where even her doggie pool is pink.

A DIY fan has revealed how she transformed her bog-standard garden into a Bali-style haven on the cheap.
