Mitgo, a global IT/MarTech company, launches Mitgame, a specialised one-stop partner network and user acquisition platform for games and online gaming services. The first six months of 2023 saw Mitgame partners help gaming projects in the US to increase GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) of their sales by 64% YoY for both game sales and in-game purchases.
Released as a stand-alone business in 2023, Mitgame grew out of the online gaming segment of performance network Admitad, a Mitgo company. Over the past 12 months, the online gaming revenues within Admitad’s partner network have skyrocketed by over 50%, with significant growth observed in key markets like the US, MENA, and Germany. Witnessing this remarkable progress, Mitgame was conceived as a separate business entity, strategically designed to concentrate solely on the online gaming market.
Primarily targeting client, browser and console games, the network already has more than 200,000 publishers and 100+ game brands as clients. In just the first half of 2023, the network has attracted a staggering 500,000 active players for its partners, reinforcing its position as a major player in the gaming landscape. Current Mitgame partnerships include Epic Games, Perfect World, Plarium, MY.GAMES, Wargaming, Gaijin, Nexters, Innogames, Upjers and other top-notch brands. The company also has a track record of successful cooperation with such industry leaders as PlayStation, Xbox and Riot Games.
Mitgame also offers a unique advantage to publishers, as well as Admitad partners, by enabling accelerated payouts through Instant Payout Pro, allowing them to withdraw rewards within just one day after their audience performs target actions, like installations, purchases, or game registrations.
Expansion plans in the US market
The USA will be one of the key markets for this new business. In the first half of 2023, the number of player acquisitions and purchases generated for console and PC games in the USA increased by 66%. During the same period, GMV in the segment of browser games tripled year-over-year. These two segments will be among the main targets for Mitgame’s future growth, along with fast-growing mobile and client games markets.
The North American gaming market is projected to experience significant growth, reaching an annual value of $80.9 billion by 2025, compared to $56.8 billion in 2021. This impressive increase solidifies North America’s position as the leading gaming market globally. By 2025, in-game purchases are estimated to surpass $74 million worldwide, signifying a substantial revenue stream in the gaming ecosystem.
Affiliate marketing not only helps to attract players and increase downloads and installs – it also helps to increase the amount of purchases of both the game itself and in-game content.
Mitgame’s goal is to establish partnerships with 400 more gaming brands within a year, with at least 10% hailing from the US. Additionally, the network intends to collaborate with over 5,000 new publishers, with a minimum of 25% being based in the US.
“Mitgame has evolved into a gaming-focused business. Being part of Mitgo will allow Mitgame to benefit from all the services and partner networking opportunities the company offers. This is part of our core strategy – to broaden and diversify the business into successful, global market segments.” – Alexander Bachmann, CEO and Founder, Mitgo.
As part of their commitment to success, Mitgo plans to invest over $9 million by 2025 in the continued development of Mitgame, aiming to lead the global gaming market with this innovative and dynamic platform.
