The Rotary Club of Longridge and North Preston is organising a charity Christmas tree collection.
Trees will be collected from across parts of Preston and the Ribble Valley on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 January.
All proceeds raised will go to local charities and community causes. Last year’s tree collection raised £2,000 for the North West Children’s Support Group.
Everyone involved in the initiative is a volunteer, and the trees are sustainably recycled as part of the Fylde Sand Dunes Project.
Volunteers will collect trees from Longridge, Goosnargh, Grimsargh, Barton, Knowle Green, Cottam, Woodplumpton, Ashton, Fulwood, Broughton, and Ribchester.

A donation of £10 for up to two trees per household is suggested but larger donations are gratefully received.
