Bond’s Barbershop, in Jewry Street, is organising the event to be held at Alfie’s in High Street.
The party, on Thursday, November 30, has a Magnum P.I theme.
Bond’s Barbershops in Winchester, Broadstone and Wareham are organising their own events to be held on the same day.
Winchester manager Sophie Simpson told the Chronicle that the aim is to raise £1,000 with 100 people expected to come.

She said: “Movemeber is a leading charity for men’s mental health as well as prostate and testicular cancer. As a barbershop, it’s something we can get behind quite easily because we encourage a lot of our clients to grow moustaches for Movember anyway.
“We also feel like the barbershop should be a safe place, so it’s somewhere they can come and talk about their problems. A lot of my clients tell me about their mental health problems, and we’re here to support them and help them out in difficult times. We want to celebrate that.
“We’re going to raise as much awareness and money as we can for Movember. We’ve teamed up with Alfie’s to create this big Movember night.
“It will be a Magnum P.I. party because Tom Selleck has a big moustache. So everyone will be wearing funky shirts and have big moustaches. If they don’t have a moustache, we’re going to have stick-on ones for them to wear. Everybody will be wearing one.
“There will be a big raffle on the night with around 20 prizes, all donated by local businesses. We’ll have an 80s DJ, cocktails and a Movember burger.”

Sophie added: “There’s a lot of things going on which should help to raise money. Alfie’s contacted the pale ale brewery Camden, who said they will donate £1 to Movemeber from each can sold.
“We also have a couple of people giving speeches on the night to share their own experiences about mental health and what has got them through it.
“For women, we go out with our friends and talk about our problems all the time. When guys go out with their friends, they don’t necessarily talk about problems, they talk about football and what they’re doing at the weekend. They don’t want to be negative or bring the mood down, so they don’t want to talk about what’s actually going on in their lives.”
