Lobster festival at The White Horse in Brancaster Staithe to raise funds for The Fishermen’s Mission

A tasty lobster festival helped to raise nearly £1,000 for a good cause.

Hundreds of local lobsters were enjoyed at the annual event put on by staff at The White Horse in Brancaster Staithe.

The food was expertly barbecued by Fran Hartshorne, the venue’s executive chef.

Rob Williamson, general manager at The White Horse, said: ”Wow, what a magical evening. The weather was good to us, Nelson’s Shantymen entertained us, and our wonderful customers enjoyed the best of everything and also supported us in our quest to raise funds for the local branch of The Fishermen’s Mission.

“We are delighted to have donated the grand sum of £900.’
