5k Colour Run helps raise Powys town carnival funds

On Sunday, June 11, dozens of runners were covered in an array of bright colours as they completed Machynlleth carnival’s Colour Run.

The event started at 11am from Y Plas, with the route taking runners through the Hurricanes, the rugby and football pitch, then through the Plas grounds, competitors being spayed with coloured powder throughout the course.

OTHER NEWS:

Addressing the event, Machynlleth carnival said via their social media pages: “A massive Thank You to all that took part and supported us in our first time ever organising this event, I think it’s clear to say that you all enjoyed.

“Next year we’ll open it up and allow more entries.

“We would like to thank Y Plas Machynlleth, Machynlleth FC, Clwb Rygbi Machynlleth and Machynlleth Hurricanes for letting us use your grounds and facilities, the support that we have off of you is amazing.

“The Marshalls, thank you all for turning up early and standing in the sun for hours on end, we couldn’t have done it without you.”
