$3.6bn for Flagship Pioneering- The Week in AgriFoodTech

While there was a dearth of funding rounds for agrifoodtech startups this week, some serious money was pumped into adjacent spaces.

Kembara’s deeptech and climate fund secured a €350 million ($379 million) capital injection from the European Investment Fund, while Flagship Pioneering expanded its capital base by a cool $3.6 billion to support 25 breakthrough companies in “human health, sustainability, and artificial intelligence.”
