Scarlettabbott aims to double headcount following investment

York-headquartered employee engagement consultancy Scarlettabbott, has secured a new investment, as it aims to double its headcount. The significant investment comes from mid-market private equity firm LDC.

Founded in 1991, Scarlettabbott is a UK employee engagement and communications consultancy. The firm helps achieve results for client partners by helping them empower staff to be their best selves; providing internal campaigns, digital communications, behavioural science, and business strategy to help realise that.

Human resources challenges will continue to be one of the top concerns for businesses in 2023, and as such, demand for HR consulting firms like Scarlettabbott remains high. To help the firm meet this demand, and power it toward a new set of growth ambitions, Scarlettabbott has secured new backing from a private equity firm.

The Scarlettabbott team will also further invest in the firm’s products, services and people to enhance the service it provides to clients, and increase its support for organisations in the UK and overseas.

The investment was led by LDC Investment Director Lee Donaldson and Investment Managers Naomi McDiarmid and Emma Borrie.
