Finance Manager | Southampton Culture Trust


Key responsibilities of the role include:
Working for Southampton Culture Trust, you will thrive on making a difference to the cultural ambitions of Southampton and love getting things done. 

This is an instrumental role within a dynamic team, where you will be fundamental to helping shape the financial, strategic decision-making with the Chief Executive and a Board of Trustees, as well as having responsibility for developing and delivering the day-to-day 
finance operations, policies, and processes. You will ensure financial statutory obligations are fulfilled, produce and analyse monthly management accounts, manage the payroll, report on key financial data for informed decision making, and work closely with external suppliers and partners to ensure appropriate policies are followed and effective financial planning is in place.

Key qualifications, skills and experience include:
Holding a full professional accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent), you will have proven knowledge and experience of financial accounts, budgetary management/controls, and legal/financial legislation, ensuring both day to day financial operations, processes and systems work effectively, as well as providing proactive and strategic support to the CEO and Board of Trustees to underpin the strong financial performance of the Trust. 

You will be able to demonstrate the ability to build professional relationships quickly, with experience of business partnering internally and externally, and an ability to communicate complex financial information and data to both financial and non-financial experts in a professional and engaging way.
