Daisy Ridley‘s new film Sometimes I Think About Dying has confirmed its UK release date.
The film follows Fran (Ridley), a lonely office worker whose bubble of isolation is popped after meeting Robert (Dave Merheje). As they strike up a bond, Fran is left to wrestle with the decision of pursuing a connection, a feat which goes against every fibre of her being.
The film received its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January before its wide US release a week later, and now UK fans can rejoice as it will be in cinemas from April 19.

Below is a selection of reviews:
“[Director Rachel] Lambert makes lovely low-key use of her coastal Oregon setting and the unhurried rhythms of life there, finding the divine in the details.”
“There’s little else by way of plot or drama, but that’s hardly the point. This is a film that’s simply about performance, on every level.”
“As odd as this sounds, Lambert took a story about depression and everyday mundane life and turned it into something refreshing, innovative, and humorous.”
“Sometimes I Think About Dying is a good calling card for Ridley, who proves that she’s not limited to playing spunky adventuresses from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.”
“The film is an imperfect but affecting portrait of social isolation that captures both the pain and the warmth that comes with finally letting others in.”
“For a film about the pull of death, there sure is a lot of life in this low-key charmer.”
Sometimes I Think About Dying will be released in UK cinemas on April 19.
