International financial services group Admiral is recruiting a network of UK dealers to boost its car finance business in the UK.
In a statement released to Motor Trader, it said: “We are working towards launching a new car finance offering which will work with existing dealerships across the UK as we look to introduce new features, capabilities and experiences into the market.”
Separately, in its dealer recruitment portal it said: “Our vision is to build the best Car Finance business in the UK. We’re committed to creating unique vehicle buying experiences for all customers, by challenging the status quo, building for tomorrow and fully embracing every channel that customers research, shop and buy vehicles,” it said.
The group is hoping to drum up business for dealers leveraging its insurance database of 6.7 million customers and motor insurance listing of 4.94 million customers.
It said free advertising of stock was coming soon for dealers and it would provide free digital leads with rates from 7.9% in the showroom.
Admiral is recruiting for the new division which is set for launch this year. It is looking for sales, underwriting, product, technology and operations staff.
Admiral is a £4.8bn-turnover company which delivered £443m pre-tax profits in 2023. It was founded 30 years ago and bills itself as Wales’ only FTSE 100 Company.
