My top issue is to get Pennsylvania’s economy moving in the right direction.
Crushing inflation, high prices at the gas pump and rising grocery bills hurt everybody.
While most of these issues are driven by national policies, there are concrete steps I have taken to help address them here in Pennsylvania.
I have voted for the largest business tax cut in a generation to spur economic growth by attracting new businesses to Pennsylvania while making the Commonwealth more competitive for current employers. This step will help grow our economy to curb inflation while creating new jobs.
I have consistently voted to position Pennsylvania to serve as a net-exporter of energy. Not only is Pennsylvania a national leader in energy generation, but we should also be an international competitor to ensure our nation’s energy security. The more energy we develop, the cheaper we can make gas prices.
With healthcare costs rising, I voted for legislation to reduce health care premiums by 10%. Furthermore, I supported legislation to freeze property tax hikes for seniors as those on a fixed income feel the brunt of rising prices.
To position our students for successful careers, I consistently voted to increase funding for both public and non-public education. This past year, I voted for the largest increase to public education in modern history, with Centennial School District netting a $1.21M funding increase, or 9.36%, Central Bucks School District netted a $2.08M funding increase, or 10.83%, and, increased the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program by $125M for schools like Archbishop Wood High School and other non-public schools. I also voted to increase college scholarships by over 300% for middle class students.
To address water concerns, I helped to pass a law to remediate PFAS/PFOA from our water using state dollars, relieving local governments from the full cost burden. Additionally, I fought for the PFAS/PFOA Water Surcharge Rebate in Warrington to put money back in ratepayers’ pockets while delivering an additional $1M to Warminster for water remediation.
I am proud of my record to get our economy back on track. I hope I can earn your vote to continue fighting for our community.
