Sherborne man launches Zelensky cereal for Ukraine aid

Peter Fox, 28, a cryptocurrency trader, decided to set up the business due to his connections with the war-torn country.

His honey-flavoured Zelensky O’s have proved so popular a version is being launch to sell in Ukraine.

After a holiday in Ukraine in 2018, Peter said he loved the country and has friends who have been affected by the war.

He decided to try and help with a business idea which came to him over breakfast one morning.

Dorset Echo:

Peter said: “I was having my breakfast and Zelensky was on the news and I just thought he could be on a box of cereal.

“Zelensky is classed as this hero in the West, you see it a lot in the US and the UK.

“It all started from there really.”

Peter has teamed up with aid charity Razom, which is working in Ukraine bringing people together and trying to help those suffering.

In February 2023 Peter re-visited Ukraine to meet members of the charity to help launch his business.

Peter’s visit to Ukraine was “extremely different” to his first visit but the reaction to his Zelensky cereal was “amazing”.

He said: “My recent trip was sadly extremely different to the last one.

“It was rather scary, I experienced one of the worst missile attacks of the war so far.

“The reaction was amazing, I had never intended to sell the cereal in Ukraine, I had originally just planned it for Europe and the US.

“But the reaction was stellar, people loved it and everyone wanted a box.

“So we are working on a version to be able to sell in Ukraine now.

“I made incredible new friends, and all I can do is offer my sincere support and condolences to the brave people who have to endure this horror on a daily basis, who sadly, cannot leave Ukraine for various reasons.”

Boxes of the honey-flavoured cereal are available to buy at zelenskyos.com.

Dorset Echo:

Each box costs £15, with 50 per cent of the proceeds going directly to Razom.
