The European Union (EU), as part of its regulation, has approved the relational blockchain initiative to develop sustainable solutions in collaboration with ChromaWay.

As anticipated, the European Union has confirmed the continuation of its collaboration with ChromaWay to develop sustainability solutions based on blockchain.
This decision, announced on July 12, follows the presentation of ChromaWay at the final review meeting of the EU Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP).
During this meeting, ChromaWay demonstrated the progress in decentralized applications for digital product passports (DPP) and intellectual property rights (IP).
During the review in Brussels, ChromaWay presented its relational blockchain technology, which combines the flexibility of relational databases with the security of decentralized blockchain.
This technology promises to improve efficiency and manage the complexity of onchain data. Making it ideal for business solutions and for the public layer-1 platform Chromia, which will launch its mainnet on July 16.
Or Perelman, co-founder of Chromia, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration with the EU, stating the following:

In July 2024, representatives of RBN Eco and ChromaWay will meet with the European Blockchain Association to evaluate the compatibility of their technologies with future EU initiatives.
Furthermore, they will participate in a follow-up workshop in Brussels in September, where they will outline the next steps for the fourth quarter of 2024 and for 2025.
In parallel, the EU has collaborated with other blockchain solutions such as Iota, selected by the European Commission for its Web3 ID in the blockchain sandbox in June 2024.
This demonstrates the EU’s commitment to exploring and adopting various blockchain technologies to support growth and innovation on the continent.
ChromaWay joins the Amazon Web Services partner network
ChromaWay has recently announced its membership in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) partner network. Thanks to this strategic collaboration, ChromaWay will be able to offer the services hosted on the public platform Chromia directly on AWS Marketplace.
Thus expanding the range of blockchain solutions available to users. AWS, recognized as a pioneer in cloud computing with a strong presence in the blockchain sector, supports over 70 popular public protocols and networks.
In this context, ChromaWay will examine various methods to leverage the advanced infrastructure of AWS. One of the main objectives will be the implementation of “one-click” cloud-based environments.
Simplifying the configuration procedure for developers and facilitating the development of blockchain applications in Rell, the dedicated programming language of Chromia.
