UK: Riddle joins Guggenheim Securities to expand Healthcare investment banking practice

Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets business of global investment and advisory firm, Guggenheim Partners, has announced the arrival of Nicholas Riddle to the firm’s Healthcare investment banking practice as a senior managing director.

Riddle, who starts at Guggenheim in August, will be based in the firm’s London office and will focus on advising biotechnology and life sciences companies in Europe.

Riddle comes with 15 years of biotechnology and life sciences investment banking and industry experience, and joins the firm from JP Morgan, where he served as a managing director in the Healthcare Investment Banking group. Prior to JP Morgan, he served as VP of Financial Strategy & Investor Relations at Precision Biosciences.

“[Riddle] has an extraordinary track record of advising biotechnology clients and will enhance our ability to take market share in this important sector,” said Mark Van Lith, CEO of Guggenheim Securities.

His arrival coincides with Guggenheim’s recent hire of Goldman’s head of Healthcare Europe, Ben Thorpe.

“Their combined expertise will contribute to our global scale in pharmaceuticals, life sciences and biotechnology,” continued Van Lith.
