U.S. Century Bank senior vice president and SBA Director, Liudmila Esquerdo, has been appointed Fundraising Chair of the local nonprofit WikiVoice, where she has been a board member since 2021. Esquerdo has been with U.S. Century Bank since 2019 and has 24 years of SBA lending experience.
As fundraising chair, Esquerdo’s immediate focus will be to raise funds towards The Knox Project. Edward Knox has been a local humanitarian for 26 years and is now in need of assistance to rebuild his severely damaged home after a government renovation grant that his family had been counting on did not materialize.

Esquerdo is a member of the Florida Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders, the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders and is on the committee of Hard Hats & High Heels for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami. Esquerdo previously chaired Club Blue Miami as part of the Young Professionals for the Boys & Girls Clubs for more than six years.
Esquerdo has an associate degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from Barry University.
