The total value of transactions conducted through the Internet Banking service offered by CEC Bank recorded an increase of over 80% in 2022 compared to 2021, as the bank continues to develop its range of services that can be contracted 100% online.
“The increasingly diverse range of bank accounts available online at CEC Bank proves to be a real success. For these services, both the number of clients and the total and average values of transactions carried out are growing. For our bank, the continued development of digital services has become a tradition because we are the first bank in Romania to have launched, as early as 2020, a 100% online access flow to accounts and banking services,” said Mugur Podaru, Director of Remote Operations at CEC Bank.
The number of Internet Banking users increased last year for both individuals and legal entities. For example, almost a quarter of the companies among CEC Bank’s clients use Internet Banking, and the average transaction value for legal entities recorded a 39% increase in 2022 compared to the previous year.
