Andy Reid joins GB Bank

GB Bank has appointed Andy Reid (pictured above) as relationship manager, as part of the business’ team expansion plans.

He joins the Teesside-based bank — which specialises in lending to SME property developers and investors — from Pivot Finance, where he was a sales director.

Andy has worked in the specialist finance market for the last 16 years, having held senior roles at numerous companies, including InterBay, HTB, Oblix Capital and TFG Capital.

Commenting on his appointment, Andy said: “I am incredibly enthused by GB Bank being a new specialist bank in the market with a broad range of products providing finance solutions to brokers and clients alike.

“I’m looking forward to raising the GB Bank brand, attracting enquiries, increasing the business levels and serving my loyal broker base with an unrivalled service and delivery level.”

Andy is one of a raft of new starters who have joined GB Bank since the start of the year.

Other new recruits include fellow relationship manager Laleta Buctkuar, credit underwriter Nick Lynch, treasury operations manager Jean Rogers, loan completions manager Gemma Robinson and assistant relationship manager Claire Bolton.

Rob Lankey, CCO at GB Bank, added: “Andy knows the world of property finance inside out and shares our passion to provide fantastic service and support to SME property developers and investors.

“He brings a wealth of knowledge to the team and further bolsters our line-up of experienced relationship managers who are working hard to deliver financial solutions to ensure property projects across the UK can get off the ground.”
