The bank is shuttering banks by the end of the month, according to AS USA.

Banks are federally mandated to report branch closures to the Office of the Comptroller of Currency (OCC) at least 90 days before closing.

Executives have said branches remain an important part of the brand’s philosophy.

The location closures reflect a change in customer preferences, the bank said.

Representatives at Bank of America didn’t immediately respond to The U.S. Sun’s request for comment.
