AFTER a hectic Christmas period, for many their stash of savings will amount to roughly the price of a freddo and as energy bills are planning to soar soon, panic may begin to set in.
But fear not, as a savings and loans company will be operating a new regular pop-up in Fearnhead Cross Community Centre to help those who want to, to start saving again for the upcoming year.
Unify Credit Union, an established savings and loans co-operative of more than thirty years has decided to expand its services to Warrington to offer locals their popular savings account.
The account is easy and fuss-free to open, and members of the Unify Credit team will be at the collection point in Fearnhead to assist people in opening an account and managing it, and members will be able to deposit money into existing accounts to.
Once a member, you can also apply for low-interest ethical loans and any profits from the loans are shared with savers in the form of an annual dividend
The collection point will be open from January 13 at the community centre on Insall Road.
