Money20/20 USA 2023 saw the leading lights of financial services come together in Las Vegas to connect and offer key insights into the future of fintech.
We spoke to Mike Hughes, VP Product Marketing at FintechOS about the company’s recent expansion into the US as it accelerates its growth.
FintechOS: Accelerating into the US
Hughes says: “The US market is relatively new for us. One of our first US customers was a credit union in the midwest and one of their business customers allowed them to become the financing arm for their manufacturing customers.
“So they’ve manufactured all sorts of farm machinery. This is a reasonably good-sized credit union with a lot of technology in-house.
“But they only had six months to pivot to farming and there was nothing they could do with their existing technology stack, to do what they needed to do to deliver this new solution.
“This is a problem many organisations have when they rely on too much old legacy technology.
“So what we did is went in and deployed our platform to enable our client to do things they couldn’t before.
“So in the case of this particular customer, they’re now able to define new financial lending products for these farmers, deploying them in a customer journey that runs inside the sales offices of their business customers.
“This is how we’ve been enabling banks and insurers to do things they couldn’t previously do, and is a great example of us executing on our mission to simplify financial services for all.”
