Week 2 of World Bowls Championship sees Carla Banks in Scottish Triples action while brother Jason plays in the Gents Fours.
Carla joins Stacey McDougall and Caroline Brown in the Triples Section 3, and their first tie is against India at 2.30a m UK time on Tuesday writes Mike Barron.
They have the easiest section of four as they meet Papa New Guinea, Norfolk Island, Nieu, Malaysia, Philipines, and finally Singapore.
This final fixture takes place on Thursday 7 at 5.45am UK.
They should qualify for the quarter finals at least.
Each Section has eight countries and in 1 it is difficult to call as playing are Australia, Ireland and Hong Kong fighting for two playdown places; Section 2 is also a fight between Wales, New Zealand and Canada with Section 4 having England and South Africa as favourites.
But anyone could come from the pack as India did in reaching the Ladies Fours playdowns.
Jason Banks joins World Silver medalist trio of Paul Foster, Derek Oliver and Alex Marshall in Scottish Fours. Of the 4 Sections this is probably the most difficult as it features both England and Canada.
Again only two of eight go to the playdowns.
Scotland are full of confidence as Foster and Marshall are multi World Championship medalists.
The fixture list has Malaysia first, followed by Hong Kong China, Thailand, Samoa, England, Canada and finally France.
Meantime the Scotland v England match is not to be televised at 2.30am on Wednesday 6 UK time.
This and the next fixture against Canada could decide the two moving to the playdowns.
