The World Cup futures market is as active as it’ll get as we’re just a few days away from the opening match. However, it’s not just the title market where the United States is receiving love.

BetMGM released its group stage market insights and the USMNT is one of two underdog teams getting a ton of action.

In Group B, which the United States shares with England, Wales and Iran, the USMNT is tracking 82.9% of the betting tickets and 80.1% of the handle at a +550 price. None of the other three teams in the group have received 10% or more of the tickets.

Over in Group D, bettors are just as confident that Denmark will come out on top in a group that includes defending champion France, as well as Australia and Tunisia. The Danes are listed at +275 to win the group while France is -265.

That price has proved to be enticing as 75.9% of the wagers and 94.3% of the money is on Denmark.

Unsurprisingly, there is one other massive underdog receiving the attention of bettors to win their group, and that’s Canada.

The team that is set to play in its first World Cup since 1986 is +1100 to get out of Group F, which contains Belgium, Morocco and Croatia. But, that’s not stopping bettors from piling on, as 50.7% of the tickets and 62.2% of the money is riding with Canada to finish at the top.

Uruguay is another underdog gaining traction as a popular pick to win its group over Portugal, South Korea and Ghana. At +200, Uruguay has gotten 54.3% of the tickets and accounts for 41.9% of the handle.

The first match of the World Cup is on Sunday, November 20, when Qatar takes on Ecuador.
