Across all 50 states as well as the District of Columbia, over the last week, BBQ chicken was the most searched for food, according to Google Trends data shared with USA TODAY Thursday.

Trends show 16 states and Washington D.C led the search with vegetables , the most popular being asparagus (7), followed closely behind by corn (6).

- Japanese: Washington, Oregon, South Dakota, Kansas, and Alaska;
