Paysend has announced the opening of an EU office in Dublin to drive its expansion into the European market. The new location will be used to expand the simple card-to-card payment service provided by digital payments company Paysend into new European corridors.
The move follows the recent Electronic Money Institution license (EMI) secured from the Central Bank of Ireland. Now, with the EMI license and the new Dublin office, the firm plans to hire 30 employees. The Dublin office will be led by Paysend European CEO, Céline Singleton.
Paysend already operates in over 170 countries worldwide serving more than 7 million customers and runs four global hubs: Dublin, Miami, Edinburgh, and London.
