Oxford Properties – Tina Pristovsek has been appointed Europe VP for real estate finance and capital. Based in London, Pristovsek will help develop and implement financing strategies for Oxford’s European business. Pristovsek will also be responsible for monitoring and managing the company’s €3bn European debt portfolio. Pristovsek joins from Bank of America, where she spent 11.5 years and was most recently a director in the EMEA real estate structured finance team in London. Prior to Bank of America, Pristovsek worked with the EMEA commercial real estate team at Deutsche Bank, also based in London.
Cromwell Property – The real estate investor and fund manager has promoted Susan White to the role of CFO, Europe. Prior to this appointment, White had led Cromwell’s fund finance team for four years, with responsibility for delivering significant change and improvement across the European fund management business. Her previous experience includes senior finance roles at a number of large financial institutions including the QIA, Citigroup Property Investors and Marriott International. As well as reporting into Pertti Vanhanen, MD Europe, she will also work closely with Cromwell’s Group CFO, Michael Wilde.
Catella – Gianluca Romano has been appointed head of capital raising to drive growth in Europe. Romano will be based in London and lead the group’s institutional investor client relations and capital raising, as well as advise on product development. Prior to starting at Catella, Romano was managing director in JLL’s London office where he served as global head of indirect capital research. Prior to JLL, he was a partner of StepStone Real Estate and of Courtland Partners, and also served as a portfolio manager at Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds and at ABN AMRO.
M&G Real Estate – Robin Hubbard has been appointed global head of real estate investor relations and investment specialists. Based in London, he reports to Tony Brown, global head of M&G Real Estate, and will be a member of the global real estate executive committee. In this newly created role Hubbard will work with M&G’s global distribution and product teams to raise capital and deliver new solutions in line with changing client needs. He will also lead the real estate investor relations and client servicing functions. Hubbard joins from Schroders, where as head of real estate capital formation since 2018. Prior experience includes time as director of investor relations at InfraRed and executive directorships at CBRE and Rothschild.
CBRE Investment Management – Jesse Harty has joined as head of logistics operator division for the Americas direct real estate division. In this role, Harty will lead logistics investment execution and operations activities across the firm’s core, value-add and development strategies in the US, as well as overseeing the logistics transactions and asset management teams. Harty previously served as SVP at Prologis. Prior to that, he held the position of Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Regional manager at Clarion Partners. Harty launched his career as an analyst at PwC working in residential mortgage securities.
Gresham House – Lefteris Strakosias has joined the specialist alternative asset manager’s new energy division as investment director. Strakosias will be responsible for sourcing and executing energy storage investment opportunities, particularly for Gresham House Energy Storage Fund. Strakosias brings more than 15 years’ experience in infrastructure and renewable energy investments, having held principal investment and advisory roles with institutions including Maple Power, National Pension Service, Macquarie Group and Société Générale.
JLL – Elke Kornalijnslijper has been appointed head of APAC sustainability consulting. Based in Singapore, she will be responsible for delivering sustainability advice and solutions for the firm’s diverse client base in Asia Pacific and managing a team of 100 real estate sustainability experts across 11 markets regionally. Kornalijnslijper’s previous role at JLL was as the head of energy and sustainability services, Southeast Asia. Prior to joining JLL in January 2022, she was head of strategy and research and development for SP Digital. Kornalijnslijper also brings expertise from the Hong Kong utilities provider, CLP Group, where she was head of ecosystem innovation and commercial manager – new energy.
Mount Anvil – The London residential developer has appointed Katie Rogers as CFO. Most recently Rogers had an 11-year tenure as CFO of developer Telford Homes, with three years of that time spent also as their COO. Additionally, she is currently a non-executive director of Essex housing association CHP.
Peach Property – Reto Garzetti, president of the board of directors, has been appointed to assume the operational management responsibilities of the CEO following the AGM. Garzetti will also chair the executive board as executive chairman. Current CEO Thomas Wolfensberger has informed the board of directors that he intends to step down from his role as CEO after 16 years of service at the upcoming AGM on 24 May. He will continue to be available to the company as an advisor. Marcus Schmitt has been appointed COO in Germany. He takes up his position in July.
NW1 Partners – Brooks Blake has been appointed partner and head of Europe, overseeing strategies focused on Spanish logistics and industrial outdoor storage across the UK and Europe. Prior to joining NW1, Brooks spent 11 years investing in real assets for three large family offices. Earlier in his career, Brooks worked for The JBG Companies and Xander Advisors. NW1 has also appointed Giancarlo Vissat as SVP. Giancarlo joins from Terreno Realty Corporation, where he was VP.
ThomasLloyd – Nadir Maruf has been appointed as chief investment officer. Maruf joins ThomasLloyd’s executive management team, and is responsible for developing and executing the group’s investment strategy. Maruf will help drive ThomasLloyd’s continued expansion as an impact investor in sustainable energy infrastructure projects across Asia, drawing on more than 25 years’ experience in alternative investments.
