Raising funds to hire a creative space to work in

Hello everyone,

I am letting go of all the emotions I have attached to asking for financial help when it comes to sharing this one.

I’ve had a dream of writing a book for my entire life, I always doodled ‘author’ next to my name but never really knew what to write. I played with writing children’s stories but, whilst they are lovely for us, they have always felt too precious to share.

Fast forward to now, I had an idea bubble around 8 months ago of a book title and chapter titles but I’m really struggling to get into a creative flow when little people keep asking me to deliver snacks, wipe bottoms or answer questions like “Why do people believe in God?” or “What came first, the grown up or the baby?”. Love them!

So, this is totally out of my comfort zone, but I’m asking for help. This book is bubbling inside me, I can feel words spilling out everyday and I just know how incredible it will be to share with birthing people across the world.

1678315524_side_by_side_doula-44.jpgThe book will be all about creating rituals and ceremony through the process of welcoming a baby earth-side right from conception all the way through pregnancy and into post-partum. It will hold ideas for rituals, creating ceremony as well as herbal remedies, recipes, nuggets of information from other beautiful people in the birthing world and much much more.

If you could spare any pennies to help me birth this book into the world, I would be so very grateful.
