Kangana Ranaut REACTS to Tanmay Bhat’s old ‘child rape’ tweet. Says child p*rn was why Elon Musk took over Twitter

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut on Sunday reacted to comedian Tanmay Bhat’s controversial jokes on ‘child rape’. For those unversed, the comic’s tweets from 2012 resurfaced online after a banking company and financial services company roped him in for a new campaign. Here’s what Kangana had to say about the child p**n industry, Balenciaga’s campaign and Elon Musk’s Twitter takeover.

A banking and financial services company recently announced comedian Tanmay Bhat as the face of one of their digital campaigns. A reputed firm hiring Bhat, who faced serious accusations during the #MeToo movement, didn’t sit well with a section of Twitter. On Sunday morning, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut weighed in on the same.

Reacting to a post questioning the company’s move, Kangana tweeted: “Problem with most right-wing ideologists is that they perceive leftists choices as their mistakes. Please understand Tanmay has been chosen as a brand match for precisely what you are objecting to. Child porn is a huge industry. What democrats doing in USA leftists all across…(cont)”

She added, “Entire world’s leftists will reflect that. Most brands have made it evident what they stand for. Latest Balenciaga child porn campaign and shocking rise in child mastectomy in the USA is every right winger’s hell. Question is not what they doing, the question is what are we doing?”

“Child porn was one of the primary reasons why @elonmusk took over Twitter. This is how right wingers need to make things happen even at the cost of their own personal/financial good/profit. We need strategies /actions. If system don’t support we need to make it happen individually,” the Dhaakad actress concluded.

Several netizens seemed to agree with Kangana’s views. Fans took to the comments section to laud the actress for fearlessly voicing her opinions. However, there were also a few who trolled the actress for her take on the Tanmay Bhat row.
