People living at Meadow Court in Worcester, alongside friends, family, and members of Platform Housing Group who operate the facility, raised over £160 for Dementia UK, the chosen corporate charity of the group for 2024.
This money was raised by selling cakes, drinks, badges, and a raffle.

The event also featured a performance by the Worcester Ukulele Band.
The charity is a specialist organisation providing dementia nursing support for entire families when someone is diagnosed with the condition.
Chris Pinson-Bradley, community engagement manager at the group, said: “This was a fabulous morning where we raised both funds and awareness for dementia.
“As a social landlord, we are always looking for opportunities to give back to our communities and this was a perfect example.
“Thanks for all those involved in making it a success.”
One in two people in the UK are affected by dementia in their lifetime, either directly or indirectly.
Every three minutes someone in the country develops the condition.
Roughly 944,000 people currently live with dementia in the UK, with 70,800 cases appearing in people under 65 years of age.
Dementia UK has around 400 specialist nurses supporting families across the UK for free.
The group runs a volunteer fundraising committee to support the charitable causes throughout the year, with a different charity being nominated each year.
